Life After Loss
Think in the past 24 hours, I came to the conclusion... a part of "you" dies too.
Not sure if there IS a "recovering," or coming back. At least, the way you "were". It's like transformation happens, and a NEW you morphs into being. It's not necessarily a "bad" thing.
This morning reflecting, I thought of:
- A woman carrying a child
- Butterflies in their cocoons
- An egg hatching
- A potter making a clay sculpture
- Sun after the rain; or, the smell before and after a good storm
- The view on top of a mountain, when you finish your climb
- Running a distance race, and working through controlling your breathing, until the second wind catches in...
Each thing, the process, takes time and is challenging, looks a certain way, feels weird, or hurts...
Endurance, perceverance, character, strength, etc., is built or created...
I stand on the Word of God in THIS moment, "God will use ALL things for good"... even this.
